Patients

with disabilities

We have made provision for patients with disabilities by providing ramp access from street level and necessary toilet facilities.

Being in the centre of Kendal, we unfortunately have no parking facilities of our own. We recommend using the Westmorland Shopping Centre car park which is less than a 5 minute walk from the practice.

Limited on-street parking is available outside the practice for blue-badge holders.

How Can We

Help You?

8.30am – 5:30pm Monday to Thursday.
8.30am – 5.00pm on Friday.

There is limited on street parking near the practice (30 minutes only) and there are several public car parks within a few minutes walk. All are fee paying.

At Kendal Dental Care we make every effort to put you at ease. We have created a practice environment that will help you to relax, from when you first meet our reception staff through to your initial consultation, where we will listen carefully to your concerns.

We will spend time getting to know you and learning about both your general health and previous dental experiences. Then, we will conduct the necessary assessments. You can learn more about oral health checks with us here.

At an oral health examination, it is not just your teeth that we examine. We will look at the soft tissues including gums, cheeks, tongue, lips, and palate for any abnormalities. We will also check your dentures to make sure they are still well-fitting and functioning correctly.

Inadequate cleaning, frequent sugar consumption, not having had timely orthodontic treatment, not replacing teeth as they were lost, and more factors can lend to multiple and long-term dental issues.

This is why having a professional clean will remove any tartar and plaque that may have built up. It also helps prevent gum disease from developing or becoming more severe.
